From Coralí to Ama-Polis: A Dream of the Virtual
2025
Ink and acrylic on canvas
30 × 40 × 1.7 cm
From Coralí to Ama-Polis is part of the larger body of work Geografía Errante, developed through processes of Sur[real]isation. Organic and submerged forms drift at the threshold between emergence and dissolution, rising toward new images of themselves. The work explores perception as a fluid field in which meanings continuously shift, detach, and recombine. Embodied nature is understood not as a fixed condition but as a transformative force, inhabiting thresholds where one state becomes another. Through echoes, residues, and latent memories, new configurations take shape, opening spaces for the unexpected in the pictorial landscape—from the canvas into the world, and back again.
