Embodied Notes
2026
multipart installation, various materials and media
Embodied Notes is an installation centered on the lived lucid traces of cold-shock flux — moments in which immersion in open water sharpens perception, restores a heightened sense of presence, and renews relations with the surrounding world.
The installation brings together instrumental sculptures from the en:claves series in varying scales, alongside ink papiros (editable pieces) that echo fluid currents, experimental gestures, and mutable forms resembling suspended jelly-like matter. These elements render visible the residue of perception: empty pixels, partial erasures, and the dissolution of structures that no longer sustain us. Through this process, the work gestures toward transformation, regeneration, and new forms of embodied relation within larger ecosystems.
Also included are paintings from the CIWAY series, part of the larger body of work Geografía Errante. Conceived as deconstructions of hybrid systems, these works function as playful, puzzle-like, and reconfigurable canvas structures. They remain open-ended, shifting between image, body, memory, and spatial relation.
