imaginaries from „errant geographies“
This work on paper is inspired by observations and raw sound materials which I captured in the surroundings, and it encompasses a broader idea of the landscape, which in my imagination is also sculpted through time and history. There, in this piece, the ink emerges through the transparency layers of water and organic nets, as tales of Earth. They speak to me. They tell me in chromatic monologues about the borders [derive] of errant geographies: there, where the ice is melting, and the flow of water from glaciers cross the valleys and fields; and reaches the rain forest, then a delta in the (Littoral) a riverbank, and finally river down, Paraná joins el Plata and there, in the infinite, the horizon melts with the sea. Those physical borders in my imagination are organic and move. Those physical borders were once fight with blood as in times of the triple alliance war, and those mystery places, which borders have been reshaped so many times by nature, and natural history, sediment, and a geological time, as well have drawn political maps, a region, a country or (out)land. These errant geographies build day by day the life cycle in our blue planet, so rich in waters. I look at them in circles, and I swim in rivers in cycles as well. And the traces, here are like remains, a [Still Life] or the [echoes] of the tuned landscapes that arise in the memory of sounds that each one carries as a collective memory of the seen landscapes, to see life again on the layers of ink, that reminds of water, that reminds of life on earth.
