Wall intervention
La Mia Camera reactivates space and time compressed within the existing architecture through a subtle projection—an image of a room, or the idea of one. A space from another time and place momentarily inhabits the wall’s void, infusing it with traces of a lived interior.
The projection is extended by the Plakaten Series—inscribed posters, some front-facing, others revealing their reverse. These manuscript surfaces recall wallpaper fragments from the artist’s former room in Vienna’s 7th District, layered with fictional diaries that blend personal notes and press clippings from 2001–2002, a time marked by Argentina’s economic collapse and the “cacerolazos.” The installation plays between illusion and reality, memory and construction. The projected space becomes porous—activated by presence, unfolding as a site of encounter. With each viewer’s passage, an intermediate space emerges: intimate, unstable, and quietly dialogic.
