Hidrolitos de Fuego N°1 is the first edition of a series of acrylic-glass works and part of the ensemble installation Tautropfen / Gotas de Rocío. The title also names the sound composition that permeates the installation, presented at the Glass Pavilion of the Museum of the 20th District.
The sculptural elements range from extremely delicate, almost microscopic forms to small, hand-held objects. Some are fully transparent, while others are layered with acrylic painting. Together they form intimate, sensorial pieces—jewel-like constellations that invite close attention and heightened perception. The symbolic, abstract presence of the Amancay flower—its scent, essence, and colors—imbues these works with a deep bond to nature, emotional resonance, and a poetic inheritance rooted in Patagonia.
The sound composition, available in full via [music link], weaves natural sounds—falling droplets, frozen crystals, the breath of ice—with glowing, ember-like textures. Voices and strings merge into an emotional fabric shaped by passion, memory, and ritual tradition. Between ice and fire, stillness and movement, traces of life and history surface, carrying both intensity and hope.
