Outcomes of the semester workshop Essays on Identity Questions in dialogical Set in WUK Vienna.
—
Under the working title Essays on Identity Questions, students of the Space & Design Strategies department at the University of Arts Linz developed works addressing identity and processes of identity construction.
The workshop aimed to awaken “subjective emotional resonance” and to stimulate transformation processes, through which students developed self-generated techniques and applied them in concrete artistic works.
The resulting exhibition at WUK Vienna presents a multiplicity of approaches and perspectives, expressed primarily through spatial installations and sculptures. At the same time, it unfolds as a collective environment, where individual works resonate within a shared thematic field.
